MDE defines the hybrid model as allowing the school building to run at 50% or less of maximum capacity as determined by the Fire Marshall and requring 6 feet of social distancing.

At MPS, we are able to adhere to requrements of hybrid and in-person models while having all students in the school building. Because we are able to have all students in the building for both in-person and hybrid models, our goal is to have very minimal differences between those two models.  We believe this will allow students to feel a great level of stability in the event we move between in-person and hybrid models.

Please remember if having your child back in the building is not right for your family you are able to opt into distance learning

    MPS In-Person Model

    MPS Hybrid Model

    MPS Distance Learning Model

All students in the school building and socially distancing as much as possible.

MDE defines this as allowing the school building to run at 50% or less of maximum capacity as determined by the Fire Marshall.  At MPS we are able to adhere to these requirements while having all students in the school building. Students would be 6 feet apart while in classrooms.

Distance learning would utilize Google Classroom, SeeSaw, and Zoom learning platforms. Students would have access to a district issued device.
