Welcome to Milroy School ISD #635
We are looking forward to the 2020-21 school year kicking off on Tuesday, September 8!
At this time data suggests Milroy Public School will be able to open in an In-Person Setting. The base opening model will be officially approved on August 17th at our regular school board meeting. MDE defines the hybrid model as allowing the school building to run at 50% or less of maximum capacity as determined by the Fire Marshall and requring 6 feet of social distancing.
At MPS, we are able to adhere to these requirements while having all students in the school building. Because we are able to have all students in the building for both in-person and hybrid models, our goal is to have very minimal differences between those two models. Which means we are setting up classrooms and schedules in the same manner we will utilize for the hybrid model. We believe this will allow students to feel a great level of stability in the event we move between in-person and hybrid models.
We are striving to have all learners who wish to be back in the building. However, please remember if having your child back in the building is not right for your family you are able to opt into distance learning. If you would like to begin the year in distance learning please complete this form.
