Subject: Music K-8

Kathleen (Kathy Palmer) is in her second year with the Milroy Team.  She received her B.A. in Music Education form College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, MN, and a Master's Degree in Education from SMSU in Marshall.  She has taught music at all levels in many different settings over the years including teaching classroom music, directing choirs and bands, and maintaining a private piano studio in her home.

One of the reasons she has ad the opportunity to teach music at so many different levels in many different settings is that she served as a military spouse for 20 years during her husband, Bill's, military career.  Mrs. Palmer's family moved to Bill's hometown Marshall after his military retirement.  Bill and Kathleen are educators, dedicating to help students learn skills that will enable them to shape and find satisfaction I their lives.  Mrs. Palmer has two grown daughters, Christine and Katy and a cat named Mischief.
Mr. Palmer enjoys traveling, especially to see family, camping, reading, biking, doing liturgical music in church, and watching good movies.  She also enjoys sewing, cross-stitching, and (naturally) playing piano for her own enjoyment when she has time.  She is enjoying working with Milroy students and families.
