    Tom Vondracek is from Walnut Grove and recently retired after teaching music for 37 years. He is married to Kathy Vondracek, former high school principal in Tracy, and they have two children and one granddaughter. His son, Victor and his wife Nicole and daughter Braelyn, live in Chanhassen. Victor the is Activities Director at Prairie Seeds Academy in Brooklyn Park. Daughter Ellie lives in Chicago and is a freshmen reading teacher at The Chicago Bulls College Prep School Academy in downtown Chicago.

    Mr. Vondracek’s major instrument is trumpet, but also plays a lot of bass guitar and drums. He teaches trumpet lessons at SMSU in Marshall. Mr. Vondracek is looking forward to a great year with students at the Milroy School.
